Then there was Presents!!

A great day, with friends, family and co-workers alike everyone had a great time, especially Sebastian.

You can not tell, but after kicking up a fuss to get in there, Rigby immediately wanted to get out, here she is just starting to scream as though we'd placed her in a pot of boiling bunnies.

Black blob=gorilla - Rigby had to be dragged away from this window (as I tried not to pass out in the stanky, crowded, tropical building).

Is it a statue or a boy? No one knows.

This one is my absolute favourite photo of this entire trip - all the driving and whining worth it to see my mum and son sharing a laugh (unseen is the cause of their laughter: Rigby kept running in and out of shot as I tried to take a posed portrait - note: this is why we don't go to a photo studio, my 'unruly' kids would likely give a serious phtog an aneurysm, and I couldn't handle that kind of guilt).

We took a trip to Prince's Island this afternoon - a beautiful, brisk fall day. Sebastian and Rigby really enjoyed throwing leaves over the side of the bridge.

And kicking piles of leaves.

And even making boats out of leaves.

our little baby is turning TWO

In mere days, in fact, Rigby will be a terrific-two!

Life has not slowed down one tiny bit in the past 24 months, so we're faced with a choice - settle into the idea of not writing/blogging/keeping in touch OR removing our heads from our butts and getting what we can out to you, our friends and family.

I (Kate) am going to get Andrew to post some recent photos up here, along with a bit of prose, perhaps?

Recent adventures have included a trip to Tofino, a new school year, bike lessons, and the very unexpected addition of CABLE TV to our lives (this is pretty much the best. thing. ever. according to the kids). Also a dog moved in to our basement, after a different kind of dog moved out. We have been trusted with occasionally feeding and walking this creature, which is a close second for best. thing. ever.)

Life's been good, if constantly chaotic. The kids and I (still Kate) are leaving for Calgary on Saturday - a road-trip, alone, with two under five... I am certifiable. And excited.

Today Sebastian and Andrew ran about town visiting the whales, getting new glasses and picking up dry cleaning.
